I’m Kristy “Krusty”. I grew up on the Jersey Shore and got the nickname in high school after someone touched my over-sprayed punk hair and said, “ew… it’s crusty.” Obvs it stuck.

I’ve spent years bouncing between Alaska fishing jobs, teaching snowboarding in the inland NW, and making art whenever and wherever I could. What started as side projects slowly turned into a full on art practice built around my sketchy art, screen printing, and figuring it out as I go.

My work pulls from punk roots, DIY culture, dark humor, therapy, emotional states, and everyday observations. When sht gets heavy, I enthusiastically doodle graphics of garbage, boobs, ya know, to add elements of levity. Most of it starts as quick sketches or obsessive doodling that eventually turn into apparel, stickers, prints, and other small batch stuff.

These days I’m based in the woods of N. Idaho, still snowboarding, and stomping around the mountains with my bestie af dog, PNut.
